Microdyne Outsourcing Inc. will be at the Broome Employment Center on Wednesday, May 14, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.


They will be recruiting for the following position:


Level 1 Customer Service/Sales Representative - Responsible for providing Level I customer service and sales support. Responsibilities include creating new service requests and submitting service requests for dispatch, answer incoming calls and questions pertaining to contract coverage. Escalate to Level II as appropriate.


Work Experience: Six months to one year of customer service experience.- Six months of practical work experience, familiarity with home maintenance preferred.


Skills needed:


-- Demonstrated experience in quality customer service delivery.


-- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and the Internet.


-- Skilled at keyboard navigation, comfort with desktop technology, extracting data, etc.


-- Aptitude and ability to develop and maintain product information.


-- Ability to learn and work with multiple software applications.


-- Strong listening skills and creativity and decision-making abilities to promote products and services.


-- Strong service orientation with a desire to relate directly with customers.


-- Must have excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.


-- Proven teamwork oriented attitude and flexibility.
