Mandated Reporter Training
The Family Violence Prevention Council is certified by New York State Education Department to provide a 3-hour class for professionals who are mandated reporters in “Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment”. This class provides the certification needed by many professionals required by Section 6507 of the Education Law to have this training. This seminar addresses physical and behavioral indicators, the reporting requirements set out in the New York State Syllabus and other mandates regarding reporting of child abuse and maltreatment.
